www.trade-ice-time.com is the only ice time brokerage service – providing the easiest way to buy or sell ice time.   We are open from 8:00am to 9:00pm, 7-days a week.  The web is updated many times a day, from September to April.  We're also open from May to August, but we slow down a bit.

Adrienne Chajes and George Chajes own and operate the business.

- Get as many kids and adults on the ice, as often as possible.  

- Save money for parents and for players, whenever possible.

- Avoid wasting ice time, by not letting it sit unused.

Our Customers

Coaches and managers in almost virtually every local hockey organization are our clients.  Many adult hockey groups also use our services. 

Privacy

We never disclose our buyers’ identities to anyone, under any circumstances.  Sellers’ team names are disclosed to buyers, as those names appear on the arenas’ reservations boards.  Call us for references!

Our History

We started this service in 2000, when our sons both played on the same team and no organized ice times exchange existed. 

Selling Ice Time

Clients wanting to sell ice times list the times and specify asking prices.  Listing is free.  We charge a fee of $25 per hour sold, which is taken from the selling price.  Our service is non-exclusive.  Sellers are encouraged to keep trying to sell their times on their own.  To list ice time for sale, return to our Main Page and click onto the Selling Ice Time Submission Form.

Buying Ice Time

Clients wanting to buy ice time submit offers.  We handle all negotiations.  Bidding competitions are not allowed, as we believe this is detrimental to amateur hockey!   If you would like to buy ice time, please call us, from 8:00am to 9:00pm, 7-days a week.  At other times, please e-mail.

Prices

Purchase prices are negotiated.  The buyer pays the agreed price + $10/hr.  For example, if you agree to pay $200 for an hour of ice time, your actual purchase price will be $210.

Confirmations

All new listings are confirmed by e-mail.

All transactions are done by phone and confirmed by e-mail. 

Payments by Purchasers

Purchases must be paid immediately, if paying by credit card or email payment.  We allow payment by cheque, from selected clients, if there is enough time for the cheque to arrive within the earlier of 7-days of the Purchase Date or the day before the ice time use.  Purchasers must provide credit card information, before purchases are confirmed.  Credit cards are automatically charged if the cheque is not received on time.  Please call or e-mail if you would like a sample Ice Time Purchase Confirmation.

Payments to Sellers

Ice time sellers are paid by cheque.  Ice times are paid for after the ice times are used.  Cheques are issued each Sunday night, for all ice times used within the previous 7-days.  We charge $25 for replacement of stale cheques.

Cancellations

Purchases are final, except if trade-ice-time makes a mistake on a transaction.  We do not “take reservations”, as this is unfair to ice time sellers.  Please call or e-mail if you would like a sample Ice Time Purchase Confirmation.
